The National Strategic Research Institute Annual Fellows Conference

As the University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) designated by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and sponsored by U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) and the University of Nebraska System (NU), NSRI is required to maintain essential research and engineering capabilities for the federal government. Our core competencies address the full threat spectrum — chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear & explosive (CBRNe) — our research focus areas prioritize deterrence, mitigation & response.

The NSRI Fellows Program actualizes the institute's requirement to maintain capacity, capabilities and foresight for the DOD and USSTRATCOM. As individual leaders in their respective fields and as a holistic body of intellectual capacity, the fellows can be called upon to respond, advance and deliver research, development, testing, evaluation & training to the DOD and all U.S. government (USG) agencies with national security missions.

One of the program's key strategies is an annual conference held each April at Nebraska Innovation Campus in Lincoln, NE. Deemed the "NSRI Fellows Conference," the event aims to:

• Provide valuable networking opportunities among NSRI Fellows and staff with DOD and USG representatives and other key mission stakeholders.

• Educate on and explore national security challenges within NSRI's mission space.

• Showcase NU and NSRI solutions and foresight.
