SENIOR UNDERGRADUATE CAPSTONE

For my senior capstone project, I performed as a lead role in the main stage production of "Lady Windermere's Fan", in the Fall of 2011. I performed as The Duchess of Berwick. I created a show board, as well as writing a directing critique on the production. For a little side project, I designed the hairstyles for two of the other lead women in the production, as well as my own hairstyle. This performance earned me a "Best Supporting Actress" award, for the year, as well as a nomination to compete in the "Irene Ryan" acting competition at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF). I have included photos from the performance, as well as some of the design aspects of the production, my award, and performance board. You can view my written directing critique, as well as another writing sample, in my "Writing Samples" link at the top of the website. Enjoy.

MAKEUP DESIGN — "THE THREE MUSKETEERS" — UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA—LINCOLN. SPRING, 2012

I was makeup designer for the main stage production for the Spring semester of 2012 at UNL. I was in charge of collaborating with the Director, Costume Designer, and Lighting Designer, to create a cohesive look for the makeup of every character in the show. The cast consisted of a total of 30 characters, from leads to ensemble. I designed wigs, facial hair, the overall face, and directed a makeup crew of about 6 girls. It was a very gratifying experience. I learned a lot about being a leader, while sharing my creative thoughts and drive to create an excellent production/presentation.

STYLING — RETAIL AND OTHERWISE

While I worked at Banana Republic, as a Brand Ambassador, I put together a few looks and I would take photos of the looks, to share on social media. We were encouraged to share our styles with the world. We were ambassadors, after all. I enjoy posting my style, to share with others. I still post photos to this day. I have also done a little modeling in the past. It was mainly for head shots, but I did do a couple fun, themed photo shoots. I styled the shoots myself. I was simply in front of the camera, instead of behind it.
